Ill Veteran Claims Inadequate Treatment for Burn Pit Exposure

A wheelchair bound veteran claims that the military flew him to specialized clinic in NJ and failed to provide adequate treatment for his toxic exposure to burn pit dust and fumes.Soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan have been reporting skin, respiratory and early on set of malignancies as a result of burn pit exposures while deployed in the Gulf War.

As a supporter for the improved health and welfare of individuals against hazardous occupational and environmental exposures, Jon L. Gelman advocates for changes in safety standards and safer use of chemicals.

lawsuit is currently pending against Kellog Brown & Root (KBR) and Halliburton on behalf of soldiers who were exposed to burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan.
